Seventeen S'coups exempted from mandatory military duty in S. Korea


Due to his knee injury from the previous year, S. Coups of SEVENTEEN has been exempted from mandatory military duty. in south Korea 

The majority of men in South Korea are required to serve 18–21 months in the military except those with bad physique and national athletes. 

PLEDIS Entertainment formally declared on March 1st,

"Due to a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee joint, S.Coups underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery and anterolateral ligament reconstruction surgery. Because it was a major surgery, he has been undergoing physical rehabilitation therapy for a long time, starting from last year up until now.As a result, he was classified as Grade 5.”

Regarding SEVENTEEN comeback status, the agency states,
"We will make an official announcement regarding [SEVENTEEN’s] precise comeback schedule at a later date."
